Ralph Peterson

Hello! My name is Ralph Peterson and I used to weigh 350lbs!
Rather than sharing my professional bio, I thought it would be better to just be me. (If you need a professional Bio you can get one here).
I'm probably just like you.
Growing up was a challenge. I'm the youngest of four and to say that we grew up poor would be a miss characterization of the word poor. More accurately, we grew up broke with alcoholic father and an over indulgent mother.
Looking back, I seemed to have struggled with everything: School, drugs, cigarettes, food, authority and a drinking problem that nearly killed me.
Okay, so maybe I'm not just like you.
One of my favorite book reviews is by a woman who wrote (of my book Adventures in Dietland) "...the author's detailed confessions of hitting rock bottom made me feel better about my situation because my life has never been that bad."
I have a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Champlain College, a second Bachelor’s degree in US History from Campbell University and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Community College of Vermont - all without a High School Diploma. (In fact, I quit High School at the age of 16 and didn't get a GED until I was 24 years old!)
Today, I work full time as a management consultant, writer, speaker, Podcast Host, and former Fat Guy who is dedicated to sharing my story with anyone who, like me, has struggled with overcoming their own history.
Please feel free to reach out to me via email, and or follow me on any of the Social Media Platforms listed below.
